FAQ
How can I check how much time I have left?
Great question! Thank you for asking. Double-click the blue-and-white lock icon at the bottom right of your screen. It will open the same window that you use to log out. Don't log out, but look at the bottom of that window - there is a clock counting down your remaining minutes. Also, you will automatically receive a warning when you have two minutes left. Pretty cool, huh?
How do I add time?
Don't. Just get a new PIN and pick up where you left off. Open programs and webpages will not close if you run out of time.
Do you have Skype?
No. Feel free to use your own computer for Skyping. Next question, please.
How do I print?
While ignoring the question you've asked, our computers are set up to print rather easily. HOWEVER: we have no control over any page size settings, font problems, or other issues the file or webpage you're viewing may cause. Please use Print Preview for a more accurate description of what will end up on paper. Don't print directly from your email. Do look around you for any directions regarding printing as supplemental advice and reading.
Do you have a fax?
The fax machine we have will scan images of your already-printed pages and send them to another fax machine of your choice. We suggest using a cover page, primarily because fax machines are an inefficient way of communicating. Using a cover page is important because it is the only way a recipient of your transmission will know for whom the document is intended, whom it is from, how (s)he can contact you back and, most importantly, how many pages the transmission is (in case one gets lost or whatever). We have cover pages that you can use.
How do I log out?
Click the blue-and-white icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. It looks like a blue lock, kinda.
